OBD
New Genius needs no computer to communicate with the ECU. On-screen instructions guide the technician until the vehicle is programmed, with no way to perform wrong operations.
Before programming it checks the file size and checksum integrity. If programming is interrupted, for example because the connector is unplugged, the tool recovers the communication and completes it automatically.
